Curcumin Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.   The trouble with turmeric is the concentration of curcumin is very low, about 3% by weight.  What does this mean?  You need to take curcumin extract  in a large amount like we have in the Matrix SCS.   Learn more about Matrix SCS here
